Real meaning of Gganbu(kkanbu) in Korea

I was curious about Grandfather No. 1's role all the time. Since it would be  a spoiler, I won't reveal this part.
Anyway, this grandfather says " "We should make Ggabu first." in episode 6.

And he explains about Kkanbu.

Gganbu is
When you play marbles or slap-match games,
Regardless of whether it's mine or yours.
With your little finger on the wrist.
So we can say Gganbu is true comrades or partners.

 

Koreans don't know Gganbu?

Gganbu is a kind of pure Korean, not Japanese or Chinese.

However, it is not listed in the Korean dictionary. And also it is too old word itself.

So in these days nobody use Gganbu.
